OUR STORY
After more than 20 years in the flooring, founder Edgar Segovia decided it was time for a change. Working with large flooring companies that cared more about sales quotas than customer satisfaction? He’s been there and done that. The pressure, gimmicks and empty promises isn’t how he wanted to do business.
That’s why he launched Premium Floors & Design in 2016 with a clear vision: to build a flooring company centered on honest, good energy and respect for every customer’s home.
Starting out small, Edgar and his team brought flooring samples directly to customer homes. This approach caught on pretty quick! Homeowners loved being able to see real samples in their own space, under their own lighting without the high-pressure sales environment of a showroom.
Today, Premium Floors & Design is one of Phoenix’s top shop-at-home flooring companies, best known for its energetic approach, hands-on owner involvement and focus on doing things the right first time.

Edgar Segovia
Owner & Founder
For Edgar, flooring is more than a job. It’s a craft built on trust. Since starting his journey over decades ago, he learned every part of the trade from installation to sales and service. After helping others grow their businesses, he realized it was time to build his own. He wanted to create something with the values that reflected who he is: hardworking, honest and full of positive energy.
Edgar’s leadership style is simple: treat people right. He’s deeply involved in every project and ensures customers feel cared for, informed and confident every step of the way.
Pedro Meza
Design Consultant
A dedicated family-oriented man, he finds his greatest joy in balancing the two things he cares about most: the people he loves and the work he does. Known for his strong values and genuine commitment to helping others, he brings passion and professionalism into every project he takes on.
Outside of work, he’s proudly involved in his community as a little league baseball coach, where he mentors young athletes, teaches teamwork, and creates a positive environment for kids to grow. Whether he’s guiding his players or serving his customers, he always shows up with heart, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose.

Design Consultant
A family-oriented and honest man, he takes pride in treating every customer with respect and sincerity. He’s deeply cultured, grounded, and values strong relationships both at home and at work.
